I realized on New Year's Eve, sometime before I started on the free jack & cokes, that this will be the first year in which I'm completely an adult. i sent in my paper, even though it sucks, so i am now done with the semester.

i do have willpower, and i can control my own actions. not that i want to, but it's probably best that i stop acting like a fool and start focusing on finishing my paper on guatemala and studying for my anthropology final.

unless anyone wants to go out drinking tonight and/or tomorrow night, cuz i'd totally be down for some debauchery.

my story was workshopped yesterday. no one called me a whore, and the general consensus seemed to be that the story is funny, so i'm counting it as a win. i just want people to think i'm funny.
