At 2 a.m. this morning. *g*

I loved the book - I wouldn't say it tops HBP for me, since that one seemed more coherent and was one fun read all the way, while DH was at times quite jumbled and made me feel very, very down (it sometimes reminded me of OOTP in tone, especially with Harry's frequent frustrations). Well Voldemort does admit it was his mistakes and not Harry's triumphs that have not brought him back to power. Again it always comes down to Voldemort, he doesn't think of anyone or anything other than himself and thankfully it was himself that finally ends his existance, ironic really.

Yes! I was soooo glad Harry didn't have to kill him - it was what made it all possible (and him so special), the completeness of his soul, that he was never even tempted to use the AK curse. :)

The thing about Voldemort is, he concedes to a few mistakes he made, which were more technicalities, really - but he never sees the big gaping flaw in his planning, that his arrogance and megalomania has made him blind to the most essential things. Well, it's a good thing, but still - at times I just had to point and laugh at him or had a serious bout of *facepalm* "Duh!".
