So my beloved Little One is now fifteen years old. He's still incredibly active - more active than the Grey One, who at 13 has decided that the best way to handle life, really, is to sleep through it, preferably underneath something and far away from people since people are just not something she needs to deal with. My sweetie has a cat that's 20+ years old, with arthritis in his hips. We tried steps, but they never really worked. we built him a ramp, which he ignored for a very long time, and now uses as if it's no big deal and he always used it.

I'm not really sure there's space for a ramp, though that's another possibility.

In the meantime he does seem to be wanting to prove to me that he does not need these steps. We'll see what happens when summer humidity hits.
