Yeah as far as most fursonas go some species are rather popular O.o Hedgehogs and foxes are quite common among sonic fans, Others go for rabbits.
I can't say my own fursona is original, but then again I first came up with the character when I was six O.o I didn't even understand the whole furry thing back then, it was orignally a Sonic fan character after I started playing the games. Anyways he's a breed of cat known as the "Scottish Fold" I know its not very original, but I had a cat like that htta had run away and that was ONE of the reasons O.o Of coure it looks nothing like a Sonic character nowadays than God. People change and so do their characters (if any).
And of course theres hybrids (Which confuse me to no end sometimes, its hard to tell what mixture of species they are O.o).
As for the K in Cat thing... I don't HEAR a difference, but I can see it when I read. I think K looks better than C personally.
what you do, instead of getting all upset, is reply with

Then if they reply, ignore them. That's what I do to dumbass n00bs who act like dickshits. They stop too, when you fight them, or argue with them, or lash back aggressively, they'll just continue, then you actually have to waste energy on them.
