FRINGE: OVER THERE, PART 1
Fuck me with a Cuisinart. I freaking LOVED this ep. We finally get to see the alt-verse, and it is messed up and awesome and I can't decide if I like it better than this universe.The alt-verse has more fascism and state control of stuff, but cooler buildings and better tech. A good trade-off?
I need to make/yank some icons.
Random observations:
1) Did the map of the USA look weird to anyone? Must study a screencap.
2) The poster at the bus shelter showed that Obama is running for RE-election.
3) What was that awesome freaky building next to the World Trade Center? Cortexiphan kid mentioned a hotel.
4) Peter's alt-mom is kind of awesome.Props for not overdoing the mushy reunion stuff.
5) Alt-Olivia is so different than our Olivia. The whole alt-Fringe division is super hot, Broyles and Astrid rocked the black military look like whoa.
6) Leonard Nimoy can do no wrong.
7) Blimps! FTW.
8) Not everyone can have an alt-verse self. Because for that too happen, everyone's parents would have to get together at exactly the same time. But if you DO have an alt-self, the urge to see what she's like would be very, very compelling.
9) I am eternally grateful that there is another Ep next week.
10) I am also grateful that Fringe in renewed.
11) I will probably dream about this ep tonight.
