Yeah. That's all I'd imagined. In fact, I didn't expect it to become this long. But it was nice to give the thought some room.

I'm sorry. It was always going to be brutal.

Way to be gentle there Sally- that's going to haunt her for a while (and I doubt finding out Sherlock is alive later will endear the man to her, yikes!).

Poor John. Good thing we all know Sherlock's alive or there'd be a heck of an outcry. Please don't keep the poor man hanging as long as Conan Doyle did- 3 years! Agh!

Well, I've got to bring Sherlock back before Season 2 gets underway, because Moffat and Gatiss will already have crossed this bridge. Can you imagine what the original Holmes fans went through? No wonder they wrote letters!

Great idea for a sequel-- Sally meets the "resurrected" Holmes. That would be one memorable scene. Thanks for commenting!

I'm crying at work too, only I didn't come in early, so all I can do is hope nobody comes into my cubby until I quit sniffling. (That, and sniffle quietly.)

I'm really enjoying this (mostly; except when I'm crying *g*). It's a good story, it's well written, and I think you have the guys (and lady) beautifully in character. Thanks for sharing--I can't wait for the next part!

Thank you, Melody! I hope none of your coworkers busted you. I am enjoying writing this story. It's a relief to share my Sherlock enthusiasm with sympathetic souls. Cheers.
