I need to do more of these. There are so many lovely places in my own state, within a few hours drive, that I've never visited.

I drove up really slowly, like 3 mph, so we could get pretty close. I wanted to get close-ups of the vandals so we could report them to the police. Then we decided we liked them better than the police, so let them be. :)

I'm already planning the next trip -- Breckenridge. Another pretty town I've never visited; it's embarrassing. It's nice to have a low-key escape.

They were truly frightening-- looking at us with their big brown eyes and wet noses. We were quaking in our boots! But fortunately they didn't charge. Whew!

Those horses look like Frankenhorses with those seams all over them. o_O

Ooh, the hot springs sound wonderful Glad you two had such a varied and relaxing vacation. :D

LOL! Frankenhorses. Yes, they were. I liked the cow on the roof, also.

I was surprised at the variety. I did zero planning for this trip. Maggie had a few more ideas, as her friends had recently visited. We just sort of went and said, Huh! Imagine that. Then lollygagged, bigtime. :)
