This is why I'm evil. I so wanted John to solve this; I'm smirking all over the place. Next part up tomorrow (unless another DDOS attack occurs, grr!).

Cheers!

I'm happy that you finally updated your fic. I actually forgot this story exists :)

Oh, also a bonus for John's figuring it out. It's quite obvious it should be the angle not in the picture but Sherlock was too distressed to notice it.

Aw, so good to see you, IS. I'm happy I got back to it, too. I couldn't believe it had been a whole year-- a whole year we've been waiting since that climactic scene at the end of Episode 3. Can't wait for more!

Quite true. Also, he immediately went off on his tangent about the jewelry case, and stopped looking! He'd have got back to it eventually-- except John had been mulling it the entire time. Heh. *pets John*

I’ve finally caught up after re-reading your story through to this chapter. I’m really, really enjoying this!

You know, you write comedy so well! I’ve been reading this story during my lunch breaks at work and I couldn’t stop myself laughing! The first time was when John was trying to explain RPF fanfiction and all of the fanfic terms to Sherlock and hoping (unsuccessfully) that he wouldn’t ask how he knew all of these things! Someone asked what was so funny and I just said, “It’s too complicated to explain!” and left it at that! Another time I laughed out loud was when Sherlock was in the middle of the first seduction. Thank goodness I was alone that time. There’s no way I’d attempt to explain that one! :)

Sherlock was repeated on TV here last night. I had to laugh at the scenes with Molly, with your story in mind!

And as for this chapter - Go John! I love that he’s out-Sherlocking Sherlock!! Looking forward to the next one!

Absolutely. If you're not in the fandom, you'll go, Duh? (I'm chuckling just thinking of how lost that person would be-- not unlike Sherlock.) :)

I'm so glad you went back to reread. I did quite a bit of cleanup in both clues and text to make it punchier and funnier. As always, the LJ comments were a big help in letting me see where I'd started to go a little astray. It's a lovely community.

Next will be posted this evening-- lots of chores this morning before work. It's the Big Reveal, of course, so there will be plenty of explaining done.

Ah, yes, Sherlock and Molly. I wanted to get this done before Season 2 changed anything. Although she's quite likely to still be pining on screen, all these LJ readers will know the truth, yes? Hah!

Talk to you soon!

Oh, go John! I love Sherlock's brain, but it is nice to see his vulnerability and that he isn't the only one with a brain.

Yes, we can't have John solving _everything_-- but once in a while he can make it all click. *rubs hands*
