Super-relieved that so many joined in! God, the US Senate really is bowing to big corporate lobbyist....

(Sopa means "Garbage" in Swedish. Sopa Pipa means "Sweep the Chimney" in Norwegian. I think the proposed acts are well named.)

Totally hilarious! Our government in action. Or is it "inaction"? So hard to tell...

Our Congress has a 13% approval rating, one of the lowest in the world. And some big dickhead bigwig comes out and says that these Internet companies were abusing us, its customers, by taking down web sites for a day. Yeah, versus when this bill passes, when they can be taken down _all_ the time on spurious excuses.

These old fat hideous white men are so out of touch, it's painful. I'm going to extend my "rich man's curse" to ALL of them: may you be fated to take public transport for the rest of your lives. With that one change, I bet we'd see a lot of laws changing.

Such garbage. Excuse me, such Sopa. Cheers!

This would seem even cooler if the Feds hadn't shut down Megaupload the next day...

Ironically, it's making SOPA/PIPA even _more_ irrelevant, since clearly the bills' additional powers are not needed to launch a successful arrest.
