sounds like we both have been dealing with a lot of personal shit lately. times change, people change. and growing older just makes you realize that people, even the ones you love the most, can let you down. i'm sure your dad just wants the best for you, but i can understand your frustration in the whole situation, too. it seems like a game between your mom and him, a back and forth kind of thing. but i guess that's what it all comes down to in a lot of divorce situations, particularly when kids are involved. you'd think they would let up now that you're an adult and sarah is nearing 18. but it will probably always be this way. in your parents' eyes you're always they're little girls. you're just realizing more aspects of the back and forth thing between them now
