Agreed. On the one hand it's like OMG WE MUST DO SOMETHING. And on the other, it seems like it's already too late. I mean, they're expecting the shit to have completely hit the fan by 2090. There are people alive today who will see that. That's beyond scary. And can we stop it? I really don't think so. Because even if we can convince people to buy different light bulbs, we're not going to convince everyone to give up their Hummers and ride the bus. It just won't happen. God bless people who are willing to try, but...it seems a bit pointless.

As for kids, I'm with you there too. I don't think I could bring a kid into this world and leave them to deal with how royally we've fucked it up. And not just the environment. Also our insane national debt. A middle east that will probably never be stable...ugh. I think if I have kids, I'm going to adopt.

Blah. Yay for a completely pessimistic comment. My apologies.
