3/11
For those who don't want to read you can skip this...
Today is 3/11, exactly 9 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
I was woken up this morning with Arash's Instagram posts of the Miyagi concert and their message towards the people affected by the earthquake.
Arashi have really supported the disaster relief over the past 9 years, and are continuing to do so.Through their work with 24 hour TV, WWG, Miyagi concert, Kouhaku, they have showed us the power to connect and help others in need. I was so touched by their Miyagi concert with the student's choir, and their speeches at the end.
"We are under the same sky, so you're not alone"
Like Jun said, when there's a will, there's a way - When you try to do everything you can, your feelings will definitely be conveyed.
I didn't know about the earthquake in Japan until after I started following Arashi, and over the years, somehow I've come to know more about and support the people affected by the earthquake through Arashi's activities. Today I am also carrying my waku waku bag to work, for which Aiba donated the money raised last year to Chiba.
I will also continue to support and hope that one day people can return to their homes, and live their usual lives.
Thank you for reminding us of the important things Arashi. I am so glad that I am your fan.
Today I'm sharing the longest thing that I have ever subbed!! It took me forever!! (like 6 months or so). I started last year after I heard that Arashi was holding their last WWG :'( and I realised that I will never be able to go to a WWG. They happened to record their first ever WWG in 2011 which was included in their Beautiful World concert DVD.
I have been meaning to release this for a while, but the proof reading and timing and typesetting of something 2 hours long took forever so I couldn't make it on time for any member's birthdays. Anyway, I'm releasing it today on 3/11 which is a fitting time given that WWG was initially started as Arashi were not able to hold a concert after the 2011 Earthquake in Japan, so they decided to open WWG instead and raise money for the disaster areas. And every year after that, it's remained a charity event to raise money. Last year, Aiba-chan donated the money raised to the flood in Chiba, several years before that they donated to the Kumamoto Earthquake.
If you also didn't get a chance to se WWG like me, I hope you will enjoy this!! It was a very thoughtful gesture from Arashi, and goes to show that a kind thought really does go a long way.
I hope you enjoy it!!!! :D
P.s. apologies for the rambling, and also if some of the translations are wrong as I'm still learning.
Feel free to point out any mistakes and as always comments are very welcome!! :D
Hardsub mega
Hardsub MFSoftsub - syncs with raw at Arashigoodies (thanks!)
(I personally recommend the softsub as it is clearer than the hardsub)
After 2 weeks or so I will friend lock the hardsub link as I don't want to get in trouble with Johnny's .. >.<
On another note, the video does have a glitch in the middle of Aiba's lesson so if any one has another raw version they are willing to share I would be very thankful!
Also, if anyone knows where I can get better fonts for subbing please let me know! I really like those pretty fonts that some people use for karaoke effects, but I don't know where to get them.
Anyyyywayy ... enjoy! :D
