Rating: R Sexual Content

Summary: Shawn is Mark’s new partner and he is excited to have another Olympian, that is until he needs help.  Sabrina may be the only person who can help him get Shawn dancing to win.  Will she be able to help him after their bitter breakup?  Will he be willing to ask?

Disclaimer: I own no one.

“We should see what time it is.”  He looked around for a clock.  When he spotted one, he saw it was 3pm.  “Are you hungry at all?”

“Yes, actually I am starving.  I hate to leave this couch and you though.”  She smiled, ever so faintly.

“I will gladly visit this couch with you again if you like.”  He heard the most glorious sound.  He hadn’t heard it in so long, but it sounded like it always had.  He heard her giggle.  His smile broadened while his heart soared.

“What would you like to eat?”  She stood up and fell back suddenly against the couch with Mark catching her halfway down.

“Are you okay?”

“I forgot that with this shot, I’m dizzy afterwards.  I haven’t had to take it but once or twice…usually the pills will do.”

“You lay back down, I’ll…”

She cut him off.  “Not without you!”  She giggled again and the sound filled up his soul.

“Well, let me grab this,” he reaches for his jeans on the floor and pulls out his phone.  “Aha!  I’ll call for delivery.  What sounds good?”  She grinned at him and he laughed.  He dialed the number of her favorite Mexican restaurant and orders her favorite meal, all while hovering over her while she giggled softly.  He ends the call and tosses the phone back onto the pile of clothes.  He captures her lips with her.  They make love again and he left her more satisfied than before and she hadn’t thought that was possible.  When they were done, he got up and slipped his jeans on for the sake of the poor delivery person bringing them their food.  She stayed on the couch and pulled the blanket around her securely.  She closed her eyes and her mind was flooding with all that had happened today.  She couldn’t help but smile and push out the bad.  She jumped slightly when she felt his lips on her body.  He pulled the blanket down and kissed her, making his way to her stomach.  “You are so beautiful!”  He continued down kissing all the way to the tops of her feet and then back up, stopping to explore her sensitive areas.  “I love you,“ he breathed into her, causing shivers to race through her body.  He made his way back to where he was looking at her.  Her body was shaking as a result of his exploration.  She couldn’t even talk.  He held his top half off of her so that he could watch her face.  It was filled with ecstasy and joy.  Her body convulsed a final time and she was still.

“Are you okay Baby?”

“I’ve never felt like that.”  She was still breathing heavily and her eyes were still closed.  The doorbell rang and he slipped off of her and put on his shirt before answering the door.  She could hear his voice thank the delivery man.  He shut the door and placed the food in the kitchen.  When he came back she had propped herself up but still had her eyes closed with a self-satisfied grin on her face.

“Do you think you can eat now?”  He wanted her to eat because he knew how she could get.  She would be upset and not eat several meals at once and it couldn’t be good for her.

“I…I guess.  Mark?  Where did you learn to do that?”

He smiled, but looked so serious, not like he was about to joke about it.  “I just did what I’ve always wanted to do to you.  I take it you enjoyed it?”  He grinned at her mischievously.

“That would be a huge understatement!”  She stood up to put her clothes back on and his hands were on her, exploring.  “I’ll never get dressed or get to eat at this pace.”  He laughed and let her put her clothes on.  He could tell she was still really dizzy.  “Let me bring the food in here and we can stay on this fantastic couch.”  She giggled and nodded.  He brought the food in a long with 2 cans of cola.  He set up the food for them and she giggled again.  “What,” he asked playfully.

“You are very into nurturing and it being all about me.  It’s different, but very nice.”  They ate and watched a movie…”The Cheetah Girls 3” together.  It was therapy of sorts.  This movie is what he had blamed their relationship failing on.  “Did I ever tell you how beautiful you looked?  You are always beautiful, but you enjoyed making this movie, I can tell.”

“I missed you more than I enjoyed India.”

“I didn’t mean that.”  He looked thoughtful for a moment.  “I was just making an observation of how stunning you are, no matter what.”  He leans into her and she kisses his cheek.

After they finish eating, Mark moves the dishes to the coffee table.  “How long have you been having these headaches?”

She looked down and then up again.  “About a year or so I guess.”

“Did they start after we broke up?

“Yeah, I guess they did.”

“Am I to blame for them?  Tell me the truth.”

She sighed and looked down.  “I don’t think I can blame anyone but me for them.  It’s when I get stressed that I have the bad ones.”

“So you need the medicine?”

“Yes.”  She was thankful he didn’t know more.

“Why did you have to start taking the other medication?”  He looked her in the eyes and held her gaze.  Tears filled her eyes.  “Tell me Baby, I want to know.”

“I need to go to the bathroom!”  She stands quickly and then begins to fall back, but Mark pulls her to him to keep her balanced.  She started crying and turned into him as he tried to soothe her.  He stayed that way until her crying subsided.  She was hoping if she stayed buried in his shoulder, he might forget his question, but no such luck.

“Sabrina?”  He waited for her to start, but she didn’t.  “Sabrina, are you depressed or anxious?”

“How did you know that?”

“The pharmacy had your other medication ready and asked me to bring it to you also.  I’m so sorry.”

“STOP!  PLEASE…just stop!  I don’t need anyone feeling sorry for me, but especially you!”   She pulled away from him and tried standing slowly and although she was wobbly, she made her way to the hall bathroom and shut the door.  Mark cringed as he heard the lock click.  She needed to be alone and he knew it.  He stood and walked slowly towards the bathroom.  Mark placed his hand on the door.

“Sabrina, I’m going to give you some time alone.  I don’t want you to be locked in the bathroom.  I love you babydoll.   Always know that.  Call me when you are ready.”  He waited for her to respond, but all he could hear was her sobs.  “I’m sorry,” he said softly and turned to leave.  He gathered his things and put his shoes on.

“Mark?”  He turned as he heard her shaky voice.  He walked towards the bathroom door.

“What baby?”  He heard the lock click and the door opened.

“Can you help me?”  She was holding her head and looked wobbly.

“Do you need the migraine medicine?”

“Uhhum.” He wrapped his arm around her to steady her and headed towards the couch again.

“My bed…please.”

“Sure.”  He walks her to her bedroom and helps her into bed.  “I’m sorry Sabrina.”

“No…please. Don’t do this.  I can’t handle it, please?”

“Stop Bri.  I’ll stop too.”  To most he wouldn’t have made sense, but they both understood.

She looked at him with sad and desperate eyes.  “Don’t hate me.”

“I could never hate you Baby.”

“You must think I’m so weak.”

“No…shhh.  You rest and I will go and get your medicine and some water.”  He left and brought back the pills and the small glass of water.  He helped her sit up so that she could take them and then helped her lay back.

“I know this is so wrong, but will you stay with me?”

“Of course I will.”  He snuggled up to her.  “It’s going to be okay Sabrina.  If you let me, we can get through this together.  I hate that you are suffering and have suffered because of me and my hatefulness and stupidity.”

“Don’t…please let’s not blame,” she whispered.

“Okay, okay baby.  You sleep this off and you will feel better, okay?”

“Mmmhmm.”  He felt her body relax as she let sleep overtake her.

Sabrina wakes up to find that Mark isn’t still holding her.  She hears his voice out in the hall and looks to see him just outside her bedroom door on the phone.  She stopped to listen.

“No, please ask Dmitry if he could step in for me.  I can’t and won’t leave her right now.”  He turned and saw her sad eyes looking at him.  “I have to go, but thanks for handling this for me.  Okay, I will…bye.”  He hangs up and looks at her again.  “Are you okay?”

“Can you come here please?”

He smiled as he walked towards her.  “Yes?”

“I don’t want you to leave.”

“I’m not.  I was just making arrangements for someone to work with Shawn today, so I can stay with you.”

“Thank you,” she looked up at him with eyes full of love, “but that’s not what I meant.  Don’t leave me this time.  Choose me!  I have been lying to myself and telling myself I don’t need or want you.  It’s a lie.  I want you Mark…I even need you.”  Mark smiled widely and flew to her side.  He leaned down to her and planted sweet little kisses along her face.  When he found her lips he gave her a deep, grown up kiss full of passion and hope.

The next day Shawn arrived at Sabrina’s house at 8am sharp.  After the introductions by Mark, they all went into the studio to begin working.  Mark spun Sabrina around doing the Waltz they had worked on last night.

They had spent the day before resting and once her headache was gone, they made love, ate and learned the new romantic dance.  Mark had spent the night and they made love twice more last night and once this morning, neither being able to get enough of the other.

The next day, Sabrina showed up at the studio to help.  Everyone noticed her happy mood and bubbly self had returned.  Derek stopped by at lunch to ask Mark what had happened to make Sabrina so happy again.  He looked into the small window of the rehearsal studio and saw Mark and Sabrina engaged in a fierce dance.  As it ended, Mark grabbed her and kissed her passionately.  As their kiss ended, Derek saw the happiness on both of their faces.  He decided to get the details later and not to break up these two that had been apart for far to long!
