I tend to agree with you on this... We wouldn't do this to an animal, why a human child? Bull SHIT about it being the woman's choice and the woman's body- if you don't want a baby, use birth control. If it fails, you still made the decision to have sex and therefor accepted the consequences... pregnancies resulting from rape are actually pretty rare, so that stat is SO moot...

Actually, yes, we would do it to an animal. My cat was neutered with embryos in her belly. It happens. As for any decision so large, I would never presume to think I know what's best for an individual. I think that if something's in a person's body they can chose to rid themselves of it.

the problem is that often times the people pushing for anti-abortion legislation are also anti-birth control
