Oh man do I ever miss this. "次は仙台、仙台。The next stop is Sendai station." (yep, it was bilingual)

Hey, Sendai! I lived right around there for two years. Taught in Shichigahama-machi on JET.

And yeah, seeing that picture just made me all nostalgic. Strangely, train stations in Japan just feel like home to me. There's something soothing about them. Which defies all logic. (:

No kidding! I was in Izumi-chuo for 3.5 months! :)

Oh, hey, a good friend of mine was an ALT in Izumi. I used to stay over at her place every weekend. I also attended summer classes at Touhoku Gakuin Daigaku's Izumi campus back in 2000. Small world!
