off to australia this weekend.  very excited about that.

tentatively planning on a trip to the USA in oct. - hopefully to overlap with knox homecoming.

well things around here have been busy to say the least.  i've been working loads, but have been bringing in a fairly decent income, so it makes working so much just about ok.  even better, we finally have some really good staff at work.  we all get along and - god forbid - even like each other enough to hang out together outside of work ( Read more... )

well i have to say that its pretty darn fun to watch the republicans self-destruct (although certainly not at the expense of a 17 year old girl).  mostly i am just so incredibly insulted that john mccain thinks he can buy my vote (not that i was ever going to vote for him anyway, but in the generic female sense) by slapping a woman on the ticket.  ( Read more... )

well i'm back.  and as i'm not under a new alias, i did not get the job.  i knew after the interview that there was no way i had gotten it, so at least that helped curb disappointment.  so i guess all i can say is that i at least have a job, it's not a very good job, but it's a job.  i'm working in some posh deli/international foods store in st.
