I'm a firm believer in doing whatever makes you happy so long as it doesn’t involve hurting people, animals or Mother Nature (just sayin’).

I knitted a baby blanket for my first child. I bought needles and books and taught myself the basics. Now the needles are in a storage tub.

I crocheted many, many things . . . even a queen sized blanket for my sister-in-law. Now the crochet hooks are also in the storage tub. It's not that I don't love yarn work, but that I don't have time (at least that's what I tell myself so I can feel better).

Seeing those gloves makes me want some. I may have to make a trip to the storage shed and dig through the tub (my yarn is there too). *sigh* I miss it.

Beautiful color for the sweater, by the way! =D

Thank you! I'm loving the color, too. I actually didn't do much knitting until last Christmas rolled around. You know how it goes, with work, family and writing, there isn't any time for anything else. But I realized that knitting actually helped me think (about my WIP) AND it helped me relax.

So break open that tub and join me! :)
