Just when I had started to pack my bags for Finland I got the cold. It's not bad yet but I know it will be. It's just ironic, just when everything else is sorted, all the stress is gone, this happens

Hmmm... sound like your not looking forward to going 'home'. Just keep in mind that you are only staying for a few weeks then you'll be back in Ireland and as you say it'll be nice to see your friends again. I hope you have a good time.

Really sad to read.
I hope you will have fun, at least as what you can describe as having fun. I hate those family meetings, too. They're just disgusting and annoying. Actually they don't come to talk to you, they just come for a free drink, since it will be a party.

You're not alone with your "what will I do next"-questions. My mother is torturing me with it, too. If I say "I will do my community service or military service or go to university", she's not satisfied. Yes, I didn't apply for many jobs, because I didn't want to. I want to go to university. But it seems to be like nothing. She always tells the people that I don't know what to do. It's so disgusting.

If you want to have a break, just call or write. I'm quite sure that we could organize something. I'm having a great time here, maye some distraction might be good for you. This is just an offer, I hope I will see you in Lintsi latest.
