the stand-out photo in this group, to me, is obviously the last one, with that wonderful curving line of water-foam which creeps up from the bottom left. I'd actually crop the photo to place more emphasis on that, give us a bit more detail of it as it's really kind of cool/abstract.
the weather was perfect for hiking. sunny, low sixties. we've lived in western nc for almost a year now but this was the first time we ever really ventured beyond asheville city proper.
no i'm not from there but i grew up going to hendersonville/brevard a lot and have been to asheville a few times within the past couple of years. all lovely places where i'd like to spend more time.
I'm glad, too, to hear someone say they love living in Asheville. I may be toodling around N. Carolina in the spring, and have been told adamantly that I should pass through.... Which I will, if I can hop over rivers like that on my way.
