Why don't you just make a burrow for yourself, instead of putting up a tent? As long as it's dry, a wee underground shelter seems a much better idea than faffing about with canvas, poles and pegs.

And wanting everyone to have fun at your party isn't really a bad thing, I suppose. :)

A burrow does sound like a very good idea, especially if the weather tonight is anything to go by. Already I'm trying to think of a pair of black trousers I own (they have to be black apparently) that aren't as baggy as a tent, or that aren't too tight and emo-esque.
