Does Mark have a kid???

Nov 02, 2009 18:56

So I have been reading rumors that Leven Rambin is coming onto Grey's and she is going to be playing Mark's daughter. I was just wondering what does everyone think about this and do you think this may be the thing that breaks up Slexie once and for all???

I hope that this breaks Slexie up for good. Once Mark realizes that he's dating a girl who was barely potty-trained when his kid was born, hopefully he'll ditch her and get with a real woman (Callie.)

I'm conflicted. While I would love for this to be the end of Mehxie, I don't like the thought of Mark having a kid. :/

I've heard about this and I'm not really sure what to make of it. I think a storyline like this would have been great if Mark was dating someone like Callie (mature, stable in her career, in an overall better position to help him deal with news of this caliber) because it could have been a great growing experience for all three parties. But the way this storyline sounds on paper, it seems like it's main goal is to draw attention to the already painfully obvious age/maturity difference between Mark/Lexie. I really don't see how they could make this plausibly end well with those two. There is no way in hell Lexie, at her age, is even remotely ready to be stand in mother/grandmother to her boyfriend's new family.

Just had to get that off my chest, lol

I agree. They are drawing so many parallels to just how young Lexie is (diapers, juice boxes) that there is no way that this can end well. I really see this just blowing up horribly.

am I bad for wanting that?

Or at least for a conflicted Mark to head across the hallway to his (supposed) best friend?

No, you're not bad because that's what I want, too.

No, I take that back, what I really want is to go back to the end of s4 and pretend that nothing after that awful Callica kiss happened. Is it bad when you are actively hoping for a Bobby-in-the-shower-from-Dallas kind of thing to happen?

I am not excited about Mark possibly having a kid, but if it breaks up him and Lexie then I'm all for it. Plus I'm hoping that this brings Mark and Callie closer together.
