I figure Chewie has tried many different things. It wasn't until after I'd written this and posted it everywhere that I started thinking...isn't there a Mrs. Chewbacca? I don't know, I can't remember and haven't been to wookieepedia to try to find out. So I feel guilty about the little closet incident. Of course, I'm sure it was all the Twi'lek's fault anyway.

Han's always in trouble. But maybe this is a different kind than he's used to.

LOL. Yeah, there is. In the Star Wars Holiday/Christmas special it's revealed that Chewie has a wife and son. I can't remember their names. I think his Wife is named Mala or something, but i really don't remember the kid. Anyway, you can totally get away with this though because your warning does say AU, so this can just be a universe where Chewie isn't married :P

OK, I had to go and look her up.

Her name is Mallatobuck, Malla for short. And she's still living and she was definitely Chewbacca's wife and mother of his son, Lumpawaroo. He visited her on Life Day every year.

I can't wait to read the next part...I thought I saw 3/3 posted, but it seems it's not. I love how you wrote this part, Han's loneliness. The line: He stopped in the middle of the worn path and looked up at the stars. He’d never felt so alone in his life and he despised the feeling. and, later on: “You have a good life, Luke Skywalker…” was beautiful. And I can go on about how you managed to write nicely! Thank you for sharing this. I'll wait for the next part!

Part 3's getting posted now, only in a couple of places tonight 'cause I'm falling asleep as I type this. And there will be a Part 4 because everything would not fit into the 3rd part and I didn't want to skimp on details.

Han's very lonely sometimes though he would never admit that to another living being and probably not even to himself. But now he really wants something, Luke, just for himself but has no idea how to get it.

Thank you for all the compliments. Really makes me feel good and it's still a wonder to me that I've found people here at LJ who like the same things I do.
