I checked the community rules to see if this is allowed, and they didn't say anything against it (unless this counts as spam), so I thought I'd go ahead with it...

I'm really in the mood to write some Han/Luke, but I'm at a dead end when it comes to ideas. I figured the lovely people of this community, though, might have something they want to read ( Read more... )

Hmm, I might have some more later, but go with a pretty simple one for now: I'm in the mood for some hurt/comfort, and would enjoy seeing Han as the one hurt and needing the comfort from Luke, because I do like seeing our cocky smuggler vulnerable! :)

And I look forward to seeing what you come up with. I keep meaning to write some Han/Luke after a looong hiatus, and other fandoms keep squeezing 'em out! Maybe this thread can give me inspiration, too. :)

Definitely seconding bradygirl-12's comment - it's great seeing somewhat of a "role reversal" if you will when it comes to their fanon.

How about something where Luke is running with Daddy tall dark and Sithlike, and keeps Han as a pet smuggler (or just a pet, you know, lol).

Ooh, interesting. I've never written anything so dark or so AU. I think that would be a unique challenge for me.

Han/Luke is so desperately rare, unfortunately. It would be great to see a long plotty story, starting, probably, after Hoth, which veers off into Han/Luke insted of Han/Leia. Up to that point in the movies, everything pointed to Han/Luke, after all.

Oh, yes, I agree. I love long, plotty stories. Not sure that's what I'm best at writing - at least not very quickly, anyway. But I do love the idea.

If it were a friendship story (and not slash) I'd be interested in reading it, and would recommend some ideas. Is that what you have in mind?

I'd be quite happy to write either. Much of my slash is very tame anyway and could often be considered gen, depending on your glasses.

Well, if it's strictly a friendship story, I love when Han goes into protective-big-brother-softie mode with Luke. :) And I love Luke's loyal friendship and openness with Han. While Han tries to hide behind a rough exterior, Luke doesn't, and the trust and care he has for Han obvious. Luke's also about 10 yrs younger than Han and possesses a certain innocence/idealism he never seems to lose throughout all three movies, despite the fast growing up he has to do. Okay, I'm just rambling now. ;) How about a story that involves an ever-reckless but loyal Luke coming to Han's defense/rescue, though he gets hurt in the process (be it physically or emotionally, etc). Cue defensive/marshmallow-on-the-inside Han, who helps him through whatever it may be. Just an idea. ;)
