Top Ten sountracksss

So last night I'm thinking about compiling a Top Ten movie soundtrack list, for no particular reason. Although now I think of it I'm not sure I can come up with 10 soundtracks that should be on a Top 10 List. Since this is MY list, I'll be making unqualified statements such as the following:

O Brother, Where Art Thou? is at the top of mine. T-Bone burnett is a freakin' genius.

For nostalgia's sake, Grosse Pointe Blank is good stuff, as is The Big Chill.

Also, Pulp Fiction probably fits in a Top 10 somewhere.

Toooootally agree on your #1. Not only is that a great album, it's a great album to have sex to.

I think, though it may fall on the trite side just a tad, that the 2-disc soundtrack to Forrest Gump is pretty high up there.

Oh, and what about The Committments? Does that count?

I agreed with Mediaboy, and would add the haunting soundtrack from The Legend of 1900.
