Obama Moving to the Center

Figured you might post something like this. Obama's response.

The trouble with John McCain, who is firmly entrenched in a whole slew of decisions he feels are right, is that many Americans do not. Why any politician is still discussing Roe v. Wade is ridiculous at this point. Yet he is.

Why this position is a problem to the United States is spelled out HERE.

McCain's fantasyland version of a system where every child will get what's needed from this failed governmental policy of foster care permits that kind of thinking. What's really happening is institutionalized neglect, just as we have seen for the last 8 years across the board.

McCain has very much argued AGAINST the GI Bill, (note that McCain convieniently missed the vote so he wouldn't be on record as voting against it), and this would somehow encourage soldiers to do something other than be out in the field, killing other people ( ... )

So your response, for a second time in a row, is to ignore the information on Obama, bash McCain instead (I didn't say a word about McCain), and assume that a bash on McCain is a good reason to vote for Obama.

And yet, months ago, you complained about that kind of tactic when the shoe was on the other foot in your own LJ.

Obama has moved to the center on a host of issues. I am not saying this is a bad thing. Indeed, I said I preferred it. Do you have a comment on Obama moving to the center?

I thought that was standard American politics? Pander to your more extreme party elements during the primary so they come out and vote for you, and then make a hard turn back to the center to grab independents and the less loyal other party members?

Yup. That's pretty much how I see it also.

BTW, check your email re: D&D game.
