OH MAN! I spent like 40 minutes writing a stellar posting and I inadvertently clicked "BACK" and lost it all. MAN! I suck! I think from now on I am going to write my postings in Word first, then just paste them in when my thoughts are complete so I don't loose anything ( Read more... )

If you have had a week like I have, your about as ready for it to end as I am.
I thought LJ had some sort of auto save on posts? Guess not.

Who knows, it might. I clicked "back" like I said, and when I went forward again the post page was blank. Ugh.

This week has sucked so hard next week has windburn!

I always compose in word. It's safer.

There is an auto save feature in LJ it's just really tricky to use and kind of hidden away. But I have used it more than once. They really need a button clearly visible on the compose page that says "restore from draft" but for some really strange reason that I'm sure makes very good sense to the folks at LJ, they just don't have that button;-)
