Y-yes, are familiar with them? A lot of people seem to have forgotten about onmyouji in modern times.

When it comes to 'modern'... I think I'm a little behind on everyone else!

Oh, well I guess I'm a little behind as well from what people have said. I didn't know that there were phones as advanced as this.

They don't have phones where your from?

[Subaru had been told about the different worlds, though it never occurred to him that there might be ones that wouldn't have the same kind of things.]

No! And we can't make portraits of people with these sort of things either! [no one told him the terminology for anything]

You mean pictures. Everything must have been confusing when you fist got here then. I'm still not sure how all of it works, since usually I just carry a pager for when Hokuto-chan needs to get in touch of me.

At home we just have a page for that! Well, he's very loud, so it's not such hard work. And it was a little confusing [a lot] but it's fun!

Tokyo? [it's still called Edo where he's from!]

Uh-huh it's the capital of Japan where I'm from, though some people say the capital is still in Kyoto. In history they said it had something to do with the Edo period, but I had miss the lessons that covered the details because of work.

...Kyoto stops being the capital? [Yeah dude that's definitely the strangest thing that happens]

W-well some people argue that it's still the capital, but most people say that Tokyo became the capital when Edo castle became an Imperial Palace.
