I really have become enamored with the show Veronica Mars. Before you make fun of me, I'll tell you why. While in a fever induced delirium, I watched the entire second season.

I got into it about middle of the 2nd season. It's neat. Kristen Bell's pretty good, and the banter of the show has the same kind of zing as Buffy and (to a lesser degree) West Wing. Yeah, that answer really did come out of nowhere. I want to go back and see if they left any clues for us, other than Beaver being a weirdo. I really thought it was the mayor. He creeped me out from the beginning. Shudder, Steve Gutenburg.

I tend to think mysteries should have a kind of reverse Checkov thing going on. Checkov alaways said that if you show a gun in the first act, it better go off in the third. Well, if you're going to have a gun go off in the third act, better show me the gun in the first. Otherwise, it comes out of left field. I almost got the feeling they decided to rewrite all that stuff at the last minute. Is it just me, or was Duncan shuffled off-stage pretty quickly?
