I am no longer a student of political theory. I do not think it is physically possible to be happier than I am that I am no longer a student of political theory. Ahahahaha I just switched politics from a major to a minor, for reasons of Fuck That Department/now I can double minor in medieval & Renaissance studies (self-selecting excitable nerd department of my heart). I'm a Russian major. My degree is a mess, lol.

The buffalo chicken mac is my low-rent favorite thing. Serious addiction.

WHOOHOO poli sci seemed like an absolute mess that didn't need to fuck with your life so I'm glad it's no longer a major. Oy.

One of my co-workers gave me 6697 e-books (????) and there was a Valente folder but no Deathless, only Palimpsest and I can't remember if you liked the second. There are so many books it boggles my mind but I'm going to force myself to sit down and actually finish things (I'm ~600 pages into ADWD so I have to finish that first, but finishing books!).

RIGHT? I literally just stared at the screen mouth open. Apparently they were all free too, which boggles. My other co-worker, who gave these all to her, is just a pirate. So much respect.

I did Not, capital N, like Palimpsest. I am STILL mad! I was obsessed with the idea (SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED CITY! BODIES AS LANDSCAPES AND DOORWAYS AND RECORDS OF TRANSFORMATIVE EXPERIENCE, JOURNEYS YOU CAN ONLY TAKE VIA TOUCH, E V E R Y T H I N G) and the book's just not satisfying.

Ugh I cannot tell you how much I am into those Prester John books just from reading your Tumblr flailings - have you got any DL links so I can consume them on my Kindle? War stories, religious breakdowns, narrators rewriting themselves or the world they live in, weird magical interpretations of historical oddities; talk about hitting all my literature feelings!
