Did you ever read Margaret George's Helen of Troy book? I remember starting it and then losing track of my copy somewhere...

Also, Laurie Maguire's Helen of Troy: From Homer to Hollywood is AMAZING if you haven't run across it.

I have both! And oh my god the George is SO BAD. How bad? SO BAD. But how bad? Bad enough that she quotes Kit Marlowe in Helen's first-person POV and tries to pass it off as a Mysterious Psychic Prophetic Thought. SO BAD.
