Wow... this may be the earliest I've ever seen a holiday commercial! Carnival Cruise Lines just aired a lovely little ditty playing jingle bells and showing all the lovely things you could do if you just took a Caribbean cruise with your family for Christmas instead of staying home and celebrating Christmas at church or with your extended family.

I don't know how well you knew him, but we are putting together a memorial service for him here in WV, and I would like to get the word out to his DC friends, if anyone is interested in coming down for it. I'm also asking for any pictures and such that could be incorporated into a memorial slideshow for him. Please help to pass the word along. Thanks.

I'll get the word out in the DC/Baltimore area. Rick and I used to be pretty good friends a few years ago. I'm sad to say we lost touch a couple of years ago when I moved out of the area and he withdrew from some of the social networking sites we both frequented. I was very sad to hear of his passing and would love to help celebrate his life.
