A few okayish songs.

Thing is, it is highly unlikely that the person who it belonged to will ever get it back. If I had it in, someone who sees in lost property will just say that is mine. Specially as it seemed to have been there for a while, not like the person who lost it will go checking for it in lost property daily.

BUT, I suppose it is the right thing to do... :(.

Tbh, I wouldn't hand it in unless it looked expensive. Because like you said, someone else will just go and claim it and the owner wont ever get it back. I think you should maybe try and find out deeper by the files on it who it belongs to, and then hand it to them personally if you want to give it back.

Moral - Stick a notice up somewhere about lost mp3 player and state the owner claiming must be able to provide info on the contents of the device.

Immoral - Sell it on ebay for £40 and buy a few beers with the profit.
