Yes believe it or not I'm writing again. I know it's been awhile. Okay, a long while, nearly 9 months. But tonight I'm bored again and for some reason I feel compelled to ramble about some stuff so here it goes

Hey man, I definitely hear ya about having local pals. I miss everyone too, so I've questioned my decision to move as well. But truthfully, the people we know that are still hanging around Rochester probably won't be there much longer. A year or two max. Jobs/girls/opportunities will inevitably scatter them.

I think you know that fun doesn't come to you by itself. You have to seek it...so I think the Bills thing is a good idea. You'll definitely meet at least one other person there :). Are there any sort of social mailing lists at work? Anything at meetup.org? Having your bro around should help too.

As for the girls, I know that can be tough. Just have patience. I think more female opportunities will come once you can expand your social network a bit.

For things like match.com, have you tried putting in a real silly picture? Like you falling or something which doesn't seem real serious. I've wondered if that would work.
