This Monday, I got a call on my mobile phone and when I tried to pick it up, I noticed the buttons didn't respond anymore. So I turned it off and tried to get it to work again, but nothing helped

I always had decent old phones. I bought the first one myself (a Sagem I think). But all the ones after that I basically got from someone else after a couple of years of use. And all were quite decent (and old).
And I wanted to be modern for a change. :P
But I agree, old phones are usually much more decent. Luckily for you some old Nokia models are getting back in stores because a lot of people ask for them.
well you know, i find most of them sooo complicated, tons of menus before you can call or send a quick sms and it frustrated me plus, why have a camera that can barely take any pictures? most pones have a stupid low resolution camera :/ mmmh complaining is old too :P oi
Yeah, I know. That's why I like the interface of my camera. Just one button to get to contact or messages. Real nice, those shortcut keys (and it took me about 5 minutes to read the manual and know where all the basic functionality was).
And the camera with only 0.3 MP... Well, I wasn't really going for that, but it was built in. And I can see how it can potentially be useful for getting a quick shot of something. But for pictures, I have a nice Fujifilm 6 MP camera. ;)
I had a Sony Ericsson T100. It's the one that broke down last Monday. I didn't like the interface much, but I already knew that they had improved the user interface a lot.
So this is my new private phone.
I've also already ordered another Sony Ericsson with a subscription from Vodafone for my business calls.
I had the T100 for about 2 or 3 years... And my sister had it a couple of years before me. (It's a model from 2002.)
So it was about time it died. That's why I knew I had to replace it sooner or later... But the phone decided it would be sooner.
The Z530i is a nice phone too. :)
And I need the Vodafone subscription. It's about the only one with enough network-coverage to be able to use the phone at my sister's and my parent's place.
