What exactly is a project manager? Have they always existed or is it a new job description that came about in the 90's? Were there project managers in the 1950's who came to work in their suits and dress hats? Did they use buzz words?

I never realize how silimar our job fields were I too have a boring in the financial arena of the IT industry. I don't think it pays me extremely well...I'm really becoming tired of corporate life...maybe I'll open a cool comic shop?
