Well, I’m off to the Public library to see if I can find this light summer reading book DNA: The Secret of Life - James D. Watson. If not, oh well, maybe I can pick up some good CD’s.

Hello, you posted a comment on my LJ a little bit ago regarding PT Certfication. I did not have any REAL training such a schooling or on-line courses or anything (but i am taking an online course just for the experience, just for a diploma of some sort) you can never have to many credentials. I learned everything from working as a technician at CVS, and word got around about me at my old district, because i am REALLY good at my job, and it turns out many stores in that area called my store asking if i was available :-P In many states you are not allowed to work in any sort of pharmacy unles you are PT Certified. NJ isnt one of them. I rarely work at CVS anymore. I do every once and while...but my main job is at a hospital pharmacy in my area. I love my job with a hge passion. I work with Kev_n in the same building, but he does stuff on the actual floors with the patients and what not. I dont deal with patients at all, which is cool, I am an IV technician, and I just got promoted to order entry tech. ((grantedt I will be in

Thanks Seany for telling me your story. I'd seen some courses offered on the internet and wondered about them. I'm kind of a Boy Scout type "be prepared" when it comes to my future career. Just in case the Nursing gig doesn’t pan out I'm looking into alternatives in health care.
Good luck at the hospital. Sounds like you're on your way up!
Hope you don't mind I'm adding you to my friends list.
