Fahrenheit 9/11

I went to see Fahrenheit 9/11 today. It was rather boring, a re-hash of what I already know to be true of the current un-elected dictatorship. One new thing I learned - Paul Wolfowitz uses his own saliva to gel (groom) his hair - absolutely disgusting.

Other movies I need to see before it's too late for the box office:

I kept all my text books. Heck, I keep all my books, including novels I didn't find too interesting. No wonder I have no closet space. As for Fahrenheit 9/11, I'll wait for it to be released on cable. Bah.

Me too, except.. eh, now I need another bookcase because the one I bought not more than a couple months ago is already full. I suppose I should just stay the hell away from bookstores, but then there is Amazon. ~sigh~

Well, with amazon, you're getting your stuff at list price unless you're going through their Z-Shops on there. I love how you can take advantage of all the deals on half.com. When I was still in school, I would rape, pillage, and plunder that site before any new semester started. Some books at the fixed-price, horrible bookstore were at least $100. I could get the same book, brand new, in shrink-wrap for about $15 on half.com if I was dilligent enough. Thank goodness for e-tail!

I have no closet space, floor space, etc...

I must let the library become my archive of choice.

You did better than me. I watched the House 'debate' on the 'Marriage Prevention Act' (or whatever it is) on C-SPAN.

Falls out of chair, that's akin to watching the paint dry...

Actually, more like watching paint flake. If y'know what I mean.

i do believe the saliva of someone behind the camera came to the aid of mister wolfowitz's misbehaving hair, as well. i could be wrong, but i think i remember seeing that.

An aide tried to help him mat down his hair after he wetted it with his own saliva by licking his fingers then sucking his comb. At some point the aid may have also contributed some saliva in addition to a helping hand. Double gross.

I love Half.com... I am so disappointed that the site will be closing in October.

Oh, I just read that it's an integration into eBay. Okay, that's not so bad. You have to be registered on eBay to use half.com anyway. There's always Amazon, Overstock, and Barnes & Noble's third-party sellers.

Time to check out bookcrossing.com.

I think I looked at bookcrossing.com a while back. I thought it was more of a place to give away your books - I'll have to check again.
