Plans for 2013

Staring in early January I am gonna begin amassing money to upgrade my PC. This is not a "build a new rig" thing. I'm pretty content with the base hardware.

But this is what I plan to do:

1. Get a 40 or 80 GB SSD to use as a boot drive.
2. Reinstall Windows 7, this time moving from 32-bit (what I use now) to 64-bit.
3. Add another SSD to hold my Steam games.

Depending on how picky you are about your hardware, I have loads of hardware sitting around due to the last two years of computer hell I've had (along with various other things). I plan to get around to going through it to see what is still good and what isn't, so if you're interested, I'll let you know what I've got and you can have it for free or cheap, depending...

I have a particular interest in an SSD to use as a boot drive. And a good large HDD to put the music and videos on. :)

I have at least 6 harddrives sitting around, though about half are not functioning for one reason or another.

I won't be looking into this until at least January, but I'll keep you in mind. I really want some of this shit out of my apartment. e.e
