Imagine an evening (mild enough to be comfortably atmospheric) where the last streaks of light disappear revealing a backdrop that is the street lights of Edinburgh and small towns right over the water in Fife. Suddenly, from under a burning Celtic cross, there erupts a chanting drumbeat played by an army of dark figures that is both seductive and ( Read more... )

No worries- I think exam stress makes people do funny things. At least that's what happens to me!

I have exams on the 11th, 18th & 19th, so whenever I can fit around that I shall come and see you. We should go to Tchai Ovna for tea sometime too.

Arghhh I have had the most unbelievably stressy day. Had to hand in some groupwork, and printers broke & we really needed about a week. I have another thing due in tomorrow-another week's work in a single night. Tis nice to hear from you though :)

Hey i just read your post and not really sure what to respond.

'' I don't know how to put it other than I'm so much more relaxed again now- perhaps not trying to be something I'm not.'' Sorry Mark but I never asked you to be something that you weren't...the suggestion that i did or expected you to implies that in the first instance, you weren't comfortable being youself around me, and if so then things shouldn't have transpired.

Ach well as is done now. Your gran is a wise lady, and dead flowers...fantastic humour indeed. Of course, should i ever contact you in civility, it would have to be on your terms.

Happy study.

I wasn't trying to be unpleasant... quite on the contrary I was bravely trying to do something I am notoriously bad at: staying amicable after. If it came out funny-well I'm just not very good at it! Of course I have nice memories, but you said yourself that things got a bit funny in Edinburgh. I was just iterating the point.

well as long as that ''amicable'' nature is on your terms, then of course thats ok then.

I'm not getting this. If you are happier with no contact, then by all means I shall no get in touch. I don't think either of us are particularly nasty people though, so I just thought it was ok to talk to you. I suspect though that messages on livejournal are prone to causing us to misunderstand each other...

Miss wozzles.

Perhaps I said things the wrong way. Of course I would prefer to stay on good terms.

I had my first exam today; it went well (not ideal, but these things never are..) Tomorrow I have an interview with ITI Techmedia for a full time summer placement. I'm a fair bit more concerned about next week, though. We are keeping our flat for next year. Tis good news about yours.
