Believe it or not, it becomes second-nature before not-too-long... It helps if you just swear off Auto features on your video camera forever! Because it's the same thing, in principle, really...

Film is fun to shoot, if only it weren't so DAMNED expensive :(

Yeah... I think I just realized that we never did use any auto features when we filmed stuff... so I guess it IS second nature.

Well, video's a lot easier cuz you don't need a light meter. Those things are little bitches. ;)

Don't get me wrong. I Love manual features.

But freaking light meters, and viewfinder flap. Those things are extraneous details!!
