[Let's make this the first of June at the battle dome then.

Alexei has wandered off to test out his more youthful and agile body at the battle dome today. And he's trying something a little different than his usual. Twin blades instead of his usual one broadsword.

He's not exactly the most graceful in form with the twin swords, but he's certainly knocking down enemies.]

That's about all he'll do before returning to the battle to take down the last of the mob. After that the simulation will end and will take that moment to get a breather.]

After all, how could she make up her mind about whether or not she returned his affections if they didn't speak? And why would she deny him the chance to bask in her beautiful and glorious presence just because she was uncertain? No, that would be cruel!

Down she goes to interact with her suitor, Whatshisname.]

[As Alexei takes his leave from the room, he comes a halt when Katara came down to see him. Now that he actually had a better look at her, there was something glaringly off with her appearance. Even though they've only spoken once before this was...somewhat ridiculous with the sparkling

[Which would seem perfectly normal, except her eyes are rapidly turning deepest amethyst and she stops just short of invading his personal space.]

And it's not something the Malnossos did? [The one time they did talk, he was pretty sure her eyes weren't changing...at least not so rapidly. Hard to say over the journal.]
