[Katara hears those sounds before she sees them, and does her best to give them a wide berth. Unfortunately, this little Southern Watertribe girl is not exactly used to navigating in the woods. While she's going to try to head away from the sounds... it doesn't quite work out like that.

She freezes at that sight, and then begins to - as slowly and quietly as her burned body will allow - back away.]

[Ummm... no. Attracting an angry man's attention is not exactly on Katara's to-do list. So she is going to hold very, very still, eyes darting around for an avenue of escape, or even a weapon.]

[Riku came into the forest in order to get a break from the chaos engulfing the village. That's all.

He hasn't noticed Katara quite yet, though. If anything, he's a tad too frustrated really look around right now.]

[Like so many other people, Shuri had retreated into the forest for a much needed break from the world around him. He's not doing much of anything, resting against a tree and staring through the gaps in the trees towards the sky.]
