I don't have to but it's complicated. Reason 1 - My parents want it out of their garage. Reason 2 - I'm saving up for a deposit on a house, so it would be sensible to save £600 on insurance and get a couple grand for the bike. Reason 3 - It's dangerous.
I could park it on my drive, eliminating my parental problem. That leaves saving and danger. Life is dangerous and whilst riding is taking more risk it is fun and definitely good for clearing the mind. Decisions decisions. My heart tells me to keep it, my head tells me to sell, my soul tells me to be careful riding it.
I read the post about it. I can totally understand why you have to sell it, especially when it comes to buying a house (growing up!!). It just seems a shame. I know nothing about bikes btw, but it looks REALLY nice!
