omg, so much love for this, it is ridiculous. I love Santana's snarkiness even at a younger age and younger!Brittany and Quinn were perfect. I also loved her parents (especially when her mother only semi-disapproved of her punching Luis in the face). Luis was hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing when she punched him and this line made it even better: Except for Brittany. Dear, sweet Brittany, who's laughing her ass off next to the refreshment table. Dear, sweet Brittany indeed, hehehe.
LOVE.

I'm glad you liked our baby!Cheerios, I like them too. And I think Santana's parents are smart enough to realize that Santana is hopelessly in love with Brittany (even if she won't admit it) and thusly appreciate when she's defending her girl's honour. Aha, Luis was an...interesting character to write. I certainly wasn't terribly upset when he got punched in the face.

Thanks for reading and commenting, I'm glad you liked it! :)

Ew, I'm sorry you had to deal with such a guy. Something tells me that if I met a real-life Luis, I would have difficulty resisting the urge to punch him too.

I'm glad you liked it, thanks for reading and commenting!

Aw, thank you very much. I'm so glad that I at least made the Spanish understandable, my heritage is British so I am about the farthest from Spanish as possible.

I'm so glad you liked it, thanks for reading and commenting!

This was just--absolutely lovely.
I haven't commented on a fic in far too long, but this one compelled me to, which is certainly a feat - I love interesting pre-series fics that feel like this: real and genuine and perfect. The writing was a wonder to behold; you weaved the story together so well.

The end was so touching and lovely and, my god, I just loved the build-up toward it. It was such a rewarding pay-off. Their dynamic was gorgeous.

I smiled and teared up a little and that so rarely happens to me when I read fic. I wish I could tell you something coherent/useful/helpful other than "wow, this is lovely," but I don't have anything left. It cut straight to my heart. Beautiful.

Oh my goodness - thank you so much for those wonderful compliments. I'm blushing now!

I'm so glad that you enjoyed it, that's really the greatest compliment in the world to know that people like what I write. I enjoy writing pre-series fics simply because it's always fun and challenging to come up with a back story that fits with the characters as we first meet them. It's interesting to think about the things that have happened in a character's life to make them who they are at the beginning, before we really see character growth.

Don't worry about being coherant, I'm already so flattered. Thank you very much for reading and commenting, glad you enjoyed it! :)
