best day ever!
so i should be sleeping cause i'm fucking exhausted but let me get this out of the way first.
So i couldn't really sleep...must've been the excitement. i was up at about 8:15 and i got showered and ready and at 10:15 i was saying bye to my mom. she asked where i was going and i said NYC she didn't believe i would really go alone, but off i went. so i get to the train station and there's a crapload of people waiting for the train. i get on and end up having to stand the whole trip to NYC with people crowding into me which I hate. So i get to penn station and the plan was to meet betty and her friend. i was there at about 11:50...i didn't find them until 12:30 cause i kept walking in circles upstairs and down...lol. it was funny. so i found them and we decided not to eat and just head to The Continental. So we hopped in a cab and he leaves us on 25th Street and 3rd Ave. what a butt...the address was 25 3rd Ave. So we ended up getting in another cab to drive us the rest of the way.
So the cab drives up...and i'm looking around and what do i spot? the van. Jon,Matt, Chris and Dan were all unloading the stuff. So we walked past them and headed to the McDonalds next door. We were there by about 1. We killed some time and then by about 2-2:15 ish it started pouring...not some light rain shit...the real heavy stuff with lightening. yeah..we got wet...but not like Amanda and her friends did...they got soaked!
Yes! I met amanda! and she is uber awesome. hehehehe. about 15 to 3 betty, alexis and i hop on the line to get in...at 3 doors opened and in we went. the place is pretty damn small...but cozy. so we headed to the front. and poor amanda ended up standing under the air vent for the first band's set.
1st band was pretty damn good...from Elizabeth just like me...even though i've never seen or heard them before..lol..as a matter of fact all the bands were from jersey except the matches...and they all did pretty good. i really like The Finals though...good shit. during one of the bands...can't remeber who, i heard someone yell amanda's name...i looked back and it was tiff so i said hi and then she disappeared. So we've been standing in the smae spot since doors and FINALLY!! it's time for the matches to set up...you have no idea how excited amanda and i were...lol. At 6:15 they hit the stage and they rocked it hard as hell. i was covered in jon and shawn's sweat and saliva...niiiice right? lol. the set was amazing...Dog Eared Page...Audio Blood....December Is For Cynics....Eryn Smith...Chain Me Free....Jack Slap Cheer and Sick Little Suicide. so at one point during the set shawn asks "anyone from NJ?" so of course cheering insues and he says "well...i hope you don't mind me bunching you all together but the people from NY/NJ show so much hospitality...making us cookies and stuff" so amanda who was next to me points at me and yells "FUCK YEA" i mean shawn was like 3 feet from me...lol...i was so embarassed..lol. and the he says "you know we just fired our trainer..you guys are trying to make us fat, so don't complain on the boards if we get fat" lol...it was funny. so after their set shawn hops down one person away from me and he talks to pretty much everyone...shaking hands...taking pictures. i felt like i had to give him the cookies sometime...lol. so when most of the people had left i called him over and handed a container full of chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies to him. the look on his face was so cute. and so he tells dan who's right on the stage "we got cookies" and dan goes "yes!" and so shawn hugged me...then another hug on behalf of dan and a last one of behalf of chris..lol. 3 sweaty hugs from shawn total. i got a picture with him =) and we all chatted in a group. then amanda and i went over to where tiff was and she yelled at us for taking so long...lol. i was talking to shawn ::giggles:: hehehe... but it was good times. tiff is so nice and oh man...she's so perdy. i got a pic with her too. so then alexis and betty headed to the merch and alexis got her stuff then betty then amanda got more. matt came over and asked if i was gonna sign up for the mailing list as he ate a cookie..lol. i told him i was already on it and he said "ok..i remember you from NY" and i said "no matt...NJ" and he said "yea...that's what i meant" lol. so then i take a pic for betty and matt. so then i go to buy my merch and chris in a joking way goes "::sigh:: what do you want?" so i laughed and said "are they done? can i buy my stuff?" and he laughed and said "sure" so i got a new blue matches shirt...and the red one for gretch. =) [told you i'd get it]. so then we were gonna go and i said my good bye to tiff and then i spot shawn. and i remembered i wanted to tell him about gretch in Puerto Rico. So i waited as he finished talking to someone and when he did i said "shawn before we go i was asked to let you know that you guys have fans in puerto rico and they love you guys and think you rock. my friend asked me to buy her a shirt and mail it to her" and the look on his face was that of shock. he said "really?!?! puerto rico? wow. that's awesome. uhhhh. tell her i'm flattered and i really appreciate it...if you want just make me sound smart" lol... in my head i was like "hello you use phrases like 'geographically impotent' and i'm supposed to make ou sound smart?" hehehe. so we walked out and at the door was matt so i let him know Dawn was gonna see them tomorrow and that she's excited. we talked a bit...alexis took a pic with him and then we said bye...then we walked away...like 7 feet and i went over to becky to say hi. then tiff was out there and we stood out there for a while. then we said bye again and when we got to the corner amanda called becky saying she was walking back...so we turned around and then a circle formed of people just chatting. justin came over to tiff who had his back pak and pulled out some clean clothes and becky said "you're carrying your underwear out like that?" lol...and he spun his boxers around...then betty asked for a pic and i took it. then we decided we really had to go. so we said bye...forreal this time...lol. and walked 2 blocks and found a cab. we got to penn station at about 8:14 and the train was leaving at that exact time...there was no way i'd make it so i decided to take the 9:14 train and we went to mcdonalds and ate. and spoke about the matches, but since we could barely hear we were really loud..lol. then betty and alexis walked me half way...we said our good bye's and i headed to get my ticket and hop on the train. got home by 10:15...exactly 12 hours. =)
P.S. - I forgot to add that after i told shawn about the fans in puerto rico betty commented on his shades saying it made him look like a pimp...and he started singing 50 cents "P.I.M.P" lol...that was priceless.
