The first season of Dexter is definitely my favorite, I enjoyed how they illustrated the process of a sociopath trying to fit in. Almost unreadable. I could barely abide by the internal monologue droning on and on... it sounded like it came right out of a goth teenager's diary "I'm so dead inside. I don't feel anything. Killing makes it better."

As for deadwood, I finally picked up the whole series in a box set for like $60 a few months ago. AWESOME. The dialogue between Wu and Swearengen never fails to make my day.
"Yeah, okay so he took the dope Wu... but who the fuck was he?"
"WHITE... COCK... SUCKA!"
"glad I taught you that word."
