So, the last assignment we had to do was a sonnet. Originally meant to be a poem to woo one's object of desire, I decided to do one from the other side of the relationship - the very end. ( Here's how it went )
I didn't even really notice the eff bomb until you pointed it out. I think it's a perfect use in this sonnet.
One of my instructors when I was at a poetry colloquium acutally told me to take out the phrase "you took me" from one of my poems and say "you fucked me". At first, I was a little nervous about that (I was young, and pretty stupid), but in the sense of the poem as a self-contained object, it was the right word to use in that instance.
