Right! Well I'm quite happy to be finally home, Emily and I are finding it quite relaxing here. I really did miss my parents ever so much these last few months. And Christmas is less than a week away, how wonderful!

Well, this Prefect thing isn't so bad. I got to take some points off a couple of first year Slytherins and Gryffindors, it was great fun! They were er... fighting in the hallway, so of course they needed to be punished for that. But it's rather annoying having to appear be responsible all the time. Well, it looks like I've been made Prefect. Only temporarily, of course, but they needed someone to handle Greta's duties while she's...well, I don't know where. I have to admit, I'm really not liking this job at all! I'm quite glad they didn't choose me in the first place. I tried out for the Quidditch team on Wednesday. I'm not exactly sure how well I played. I probably should have practiced more over the summer, but once I got to Greta's there was always something else to do, so I didn't get to play much.
