...if he chose to waste himself on teh boozahol, that is his choice and right.
Yelling at him or getting frustrated or smacking him will accomplish nothing. If you really think he's got the disease of alcoholism, talk to him about it, get his feelings and input, find out why he does it, ask him if he sees it as a problem...thats how you accomplish something. If he sees liquor as a bad thing, and he wants help, then he will ask for it...but then again, If I know Kyle as much I think I do...PARTY ON!!!
