So, Bristol Palin is back in the news because of an interview she gave in which she said abstinence is "not realistic." This is prompted a lot of commentary along the lines of 'Palin proves abstinence-only education doesn't work.' This seemed a bit facile to me, but I wondered what my flist thinks.

It only proves that the type of parenting she received didn't work. It only proves that she has no self control and uses her limited judgment as a beacon to others.
